Supporting you to be your most authentic self
My work focuses on holding space for clients’ deep innate knowing while they move through whatever challenges are currently present. Holding space is the practice of being fully present for another person and their experiences. It involves creating an environment where the other person feels safe enough to be vulnerable. When you are being held in presence by another person, you are being supported in a way that allows you to be your most authentic self. At Be Held Holistic Counseling and Wellness, this is exactly my intention in my work with each of my clients. I utilize a holistic approach that focuses on the mind-body connection and includes elements of mindfulness, somatic therapy, and strengths-based therapy. As a trauma-informed therapist, I understand the impact of past experiences on clients’ present situations, and I work closely with them to integrate uncomfortable feelings.
Sessions are individualized based on client needs and can include the following:
